🖼️ I can’t help the way I’m feeling, its a little out of this world seeing your art displayed as imagined. This is the canvas printed version of my emulated paintings “Ocean Nights” 21\07. Now I no longer have to turn to a device to admire the beauty of my art, I can just turn around and gaze up. My first thought was to place the canvas at the top of the stairwell, however I was not able to reach the location. I then decided the next best place was right behind me, where I create my emulated paintings and other projects. What would you do, If I took these words away? Well, all you have to do is close your eyes, think of that place, and listen to the sound of the ocean waves rush upon the shore as you reopen your eyes.
The resolution is amazing 3000px by 3000px, and was printed on a canvas gallery frame of 30” by 30” and there is no pixelation or unwanted artifacts. The image is quite convincing, at first glance it looks just like a regular panting. The midnight blue, shows darker than on my monitor, but that’s typical. I Chose to add a clear coat over the canvas, as some has suggested it helps protect and adds longevity to the colors. However, the glossiness can cause to much glare making it hard to focus if the lighting is not properly placed. The dark color also causes mild imperfection to become visually amplified. This is also a know factor of dark colors. There a some imperfection from production, and one dent on the upper left corner of the frame and backing board has a stress cracks in it. I chose to overlook these, and kept the canvas print. This was ordered through canvaschamp.ca, they were competitively priced and shipping was quick.
The photographs of the canvas print were taken with different light levels, so the image perspective may have a different look compared to the natural eye. Overall it is a nice feeling to have it up on the wall predominantly displayed as it should. From wherever this journey began and where it leads, the heart and soul of this odyssey, will have forever enriched my perspective of the world. ❤️
